As part of the VU/VUMC transition, all Medical Center employees and their families may continue to utilize the Recreation and Wellness Center for current membership rates through the end of 2016. For the fall semester, the following rates apply:

• Purchase any single month from September through December for $30

• Purchase a package membership for October through December for $90

• Purchase a package membership for November and December for $60
Beginning Jan. 1, 2017, employees of Vanderbilt University Medical Center and their families who desire to use the Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center will be able to join at the annual community membership rate of $540.

The Medical Center previously utilized its employee benefit funds to subsidize center memberships at reduced rates. Beginning Jan. 1, these financial resources will be redirected to new investments in VUMC employee health and wellness, including intensified programs aimed at lifestyle risk factors, such as smoking cessation and healthy eating, and expanded programs for chronic disease management.

A list of these programs and other resources offered through Health Plus is available through at http://healthandwellness.vanderbilt.edu/healthplus/services.-php.
