Grammys Bring Little Big Town to Visit Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital

What: Equity Music Group’s Little Big Town is coming to the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt joining the annual visit by members of the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, Inc. (known for the Grammy awards). Little Big Town will perform for the children and families staying at the hospital this holiday season and will distribute bags of goodies to all the patients.

When: Thursday, Dec. 15: Stage performance from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.

Where: The performance stage on the second floor of the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, 2200 Children’s Way on the VUMC campus.

Details: Little Big Town consists of Kimberly Roads, Phillip Sweet, Karen Fairchild and Jimi Westbrook. The group has stuck together, for better and for worse, for 16 years and their tenacity has paid off in their latest album: The Road to Here. Their current single, “Boondocks,” has entered the Billboard Top 30.
