The process for buying airline tickets in Vanderbilt’s new travel system is changing. After 6 p.m. on June 30, all business airfare must be purchased with a credit card – either a personal credit card or a Vanderbilt Travel and Entertainment card.

This change does not affect the booking process. Travelers will continue to use either the Concur online booking tool or CTM, Vanderbilt’s travel agency. When booking airfare in Concur, the credit card contained in the user’s profile will be charged. When booking airfare via a CTM travel agent, the traveler will be asked to verify the form of payment – either a personal credit card or a Vanderbilt T and E card.
