Blue skies and cool temperatures made for an ideal setting for the American Heart Association’s 2014 Greater Nashville Heart Walk, which was held Saturday, Oct. 4, on Vanderbilt’s campus. About 10,000 walkers from 150 teams participated in the event. While the numbers are still being tallied, early tabulation indicates that more than $1.8 million was raised in Nashville.
