Andrew Shaw, MBBS, professor of Anesthesiology, has been selected to join the Academy of Research Mentors in Anesthesiology, a program of the Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research (FAER).
Academy members include academic anesthesiologists and others who have demonstrated outstanding contributions to the development of physician scientists in anesthesia.
The academy currently lists 71 members, including three other Vanderbilt faculty members: Pratik Pandharipande, M.D., MSCI; Warren Sandberg, M.D., Ph.D.; and Edward Sherwood, M.D., Ph.D.
