Jenna Brent, LMSW, proudly displays her award after being named the Carolyn Edwards Social Worker of the Year during a luncheon held last week by VUMC’s Department of Social Work. Brent came to VUMC as a graduate student in Internal Medicine in 2008, and worked in the Emergency Department and Trauma Service before moving to her current position on the Complex Transition Team. The luncheon and award presentation were part of the department’s observance of March as Social Work Month. This year marks the 88th anniversary of social work at Vanderbilt.
