An Orange Alert for phone system failure at VUMC is in effect. Identified areas with issues include: One Hundred Oaks, remote clinics, Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, Critical Care Tower and Medical Center East.
Phones with prefixes 936- and 875- are affected and callers may receive a busy signal when calling from a non-Vanderbilt phone number. A technical solution is in the process of being implemented, and, if successful, could resolve the issues in the next hour.
