Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt benefited from proceeds from the 63rd annual Piedmont Natural Gas Nashville Christmas Parade presented by Tootsie’s. Kelly Clarkson served as grand marshal for the Dec. 3 parade, which also featured singers Jo Dee Messina, Gavin DeGraw and Jacob Whitesides. Country music recording artists Maddie and Tae performed on the Children’s Hospital float alongside patients and families. The parade was televised live by WKRN News 2 in Nashville and will be syndicated in 185 television markets across the country throughout the month of December.
