Star Wars characters visited with patients at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt on May 4, a date known among Star Wars enthusiasts as “May the 4th be with you” day. The characters are members of the Mid-South chapter of the 501st Legion, a costuming organization that provides Star Wars experiences. They participated in an event in Seacrest Studios, playing Star Wars trivia and taking photos with patients and families. Pictured here, patient Braden Sheffield, 6, gives a high five to a Stormtrooper.
