Nashville area television viewers will see Vanderbilt Health featured during Sunday’s Super Bowl.

The Super Bowl, which is America’s most watched television broadcast, will include two advertisements from the Defining Personalized Care campaign that include patients who have received care from the heart transplant program and Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt’s pediatric gastroenterology program.

The ads will appear in Nashville’s designated market area, which includes nearly 460,000 households. With an average of 2.5 viewers per household watching, and additional viewers including large crowds gathered for private and public watch parties, as many as 1.5 million people could see the advertisements.

Locally, this year’s Super Bowl will air on WZTV Fox 17 News. The kickoff will happen at approximately 5:30 p.m. CST.
