VUMC workforce members may meet in person. Everyone shall remain masked and no eating during the meeting. VUMC officials are closely tracking the following metrics of COVID-19 spread in the community (which is used by the CDC as measures of transmission rates in a community): 1) Total new cases per 100,000 persons in the past 7 days and 2) Test positivity rate during the past 7 days. Tennessee and our local area are still in the High transmission (red) range. We will continue to monitor these metrics and once we reach a moderate transmission phase, we will reevaluate our safety practices.
