Beginning May 11, “Reply” and “Forward” buttons will be disabled from the My Health at Vanderbilt (MHAV) Message folder and RX Request folder. As an alternative, users should open the encounter to document or use Quick Note. This change will impact all In Basket users and prevent transient documentation.
When using the “Reply” and “Forward” buttons, internal In Basket messages from the MHAV Message folder and RX Request folder are not permanently saved to the chart. Messages are only visible for 60 days. This does not impact replying to a patient. Users may continue using “Reply to Patient” for sending MHAV replies.
