Steaban receives Outstanding Operational Partner Award

Steaban, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, received the Outstanding Operational Partner Award during the Vanderbilt Symposium on Implementation Research in the Learning Health System.

Robert Dittus, MD, MPH, Senior Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer for the Vanderbilt Health Affiliated Network, presented the Outstanding Operational Partner Award to Robin Steaban, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, Chief Nursing Officer for Vanderbilt University Hospital, on May 16 during the Vanderbilt Symposium on Implementation Research in the Learning Health System.

Steaban, he said, is a “champion” of VUMC’s Learning Healthcare System (LHS) Platform, which unites clinical research and clinical operations to evaluate and implement new approaches to care that can improve the health of patients and the community. The symposium was sponsored by the Vanderbilt Center for Clinical Quality and Implementation Research and by the LHS Platform, based in the Vanderbilt Institute for Clinical and Translational Research.
