New decision support for blood product special manipulations
As of June 1, all inpatient and outpatient users will see a new decision support for blood ordering workflows for patients with sickle cell or IgA deficiency.
If patient has sickle cell or IgA deficiency in problem list, but corresponding special manipulation is not selected, the new warning will appear. Users should either select the appropriate special manipulation, click the button to override the warning, or update the problem list if it is incorrect.
