Researchers in the Auditory Physiology Laboratory at Vanderbilt are looking for adults with normal hearing for a research study.
Study Purpose:
To develop a hearing test method that records responses using a brain wave test in infants, children, and adults.
Participation in this study involves:
–A time commitment of approximately 1-3 hours in one or two visits.
–A standard hearing evaluation followed by electrophysiological testing.
You may be eligible for this study if you have:
–Normal hearing
Participants will receive:
–Noninvasive procedures to measure electrical responses from the brain in response to varying sounds
–Basic hearing testing
–Compensation for their time ($15/hour)
