Beginning Aug. 17, some indication (reason for exam) options will no longer be available for certain radiology orders. This will impact users who have retired indications saved in their preference list and will assist with complying to Protecting Access to Medicare Act (PAMA) requirements.
If retired indication is saved in preference lists/favorites for imaging ordering, it will be removed. Users will see a notification stating, “Preference list entry has been modified since the last time you used it. Please review.”
