The Greater Nashville Heart Walk will be back at Vanderbilt on Saturday, Oct. 1, at Dragon Park at 2400 Blakemore Avenue.
The walk is a family-friendly community event open to everyone: coworkers, friends, and children, and furry companions. Due to the pandemic, this is the first in-person Heart Walk back at Vanderbilt’s campus in three years.
The popular event is designed to raise awareness and encourage financial support for the American Heart Association’s research and health advocacy. VUMC has 44 VUMC Heart Walk teams, 233 registered walkers and raised $45,740 towards the $75,000 goal.
