To better serve our patients, the Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital emergency room lobby will be undergoing renovations. The Emergency Department (ED) Entrance will be temporary closed starting Thursday, Sept. 22 at 4 a.m. Planned completion will be Monday, Sept. 25 at 5 p.m. Patients will be redirected to the Main Entrance during this time.
There will be no change in the process of accepting patients via ambulance.
Temporary signs will direct visitors the way to go while the renovations are underway. The operations team at VWCH has worked hard to identify any barriers and make this process as safe as possible for patients, visitors, and staff during this five-day closure.
Starting with the evening shift on Wednesday, Sept.21, please do not park at the Main Entrance or on the west side of building 206 Baddour Parkway, so the hospital will have plenty of room for patients visiting our ED.
