Help promote the safety of our patients, their family members and VUMC colleagues by keeping all entrance way doors closed when not in use. Please do not prop doors open. Each time you open a door, also make sure it completely closes behind you so the lock latches.
Follow these steps to help keep our facilities secure:
- If you find a door propped open, please close it and report that the door was propped open to Vanderbilt University Police Department (VUPD) at (615) 322-2745. VUPD will monitor the door to ensure that no one else continues to prop it open.
