Jenny Slayton, DNP, RN, Senior Vice President for (QSRP) spoke to VUMC leaders about a new awards program — the QSRP Pursuit of Excellence Award. The annual awards will recognize quality and safety improvement excellence across Vanderbilt Health, helping to foster quality improvement science at all levels of the organization.
Clinical care areas, teams or departments will submit quality and safety improvement projects, with winners to be decided by the Quality Steering Committee in consultation with Quality, Safety and Risk Prevention. The first awards will be given in October 2023.
