The next Flexner Deans’ Lecture, held in conjunction with the Philip W. Felt’s Lecture in Humanities, is set for Jan. 5, and will feature a conversation between Donald Brady, MD, Executive Vice President for Educational Affairs for Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Executive Vice Dean for Academic Affairs for VUSM, and Alex Jahangir, MD, MMHC, professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Medicine and executive medical director of the Trauma Patient Care Center. The two will discuss Jahangir’s new book, “Hotspot: Leadership lessons learned leading through the pandemic.” Jahangir was chair of Nashville’s COVID-19 Task Force.
The event will take place in Langford Auditorium, and will not be streamed.
