VPN Edge client update is today; resolves issues with macOS Ventura 13.3 or later

VUMC IT will be conducting an upgrade to the Big IP Edge client, also known as our VPN, on Tuesday, May 9. As a result, workforce members will automatically see a pop-up window when they log into VPN, which indicates the upgrade is in progress. Below is an example of the pop-up window.



Once the upgrade is complete, the user may be prompted to reboot their device for the changes to take effect. It is strongly encouraged that every user completes the reboot procedure as soon as possible. Once the upgrade has been completed, VPN will return to normal.

This upgrade will ensure VUMC employees stay up to date with the latest features and remain on a supported software version. It will also resolve macOS Ventura 13.3 or later version issues, such as various bugs, while enhancing security and improving the overall software.
