Beginning in June, Vanderbilt University Medical Center will kick off the On the Horizon town hall series focused on highlighting important initiatives to our research community. All Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Vanderbilt University faculty and staff are encouraged to attend. This first town hall in the On the Horizon Series “Advancing Clinical Data Assets and New Tools for Research Discovery” hosted by Dr. Jennifer Pietenpol, PhD, VUMC Chief Scientific & Strategy Officer, will provide a launching pad for highlighting upcoming tools and data-driven discovery, among other topics for our research community. This Microsoft Teams live event is scheduled for June 22, from 10 -11 a.m.
During this town hall, the Vanderbilt Community will hear from some of Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s leaders in information technology, pathology, biomedical informatics among others, about the future of research at the organization and will be followed by a live Q&A session.
