eStar update about Mobile Heartbeat effective June 20

Why: To make it easier for clinicians to communicate with each other using Mobile Heartbeat.
What: All providers will be moved from their current “unit” in Mobile Heartbeat to a new provider unit called “VUMC Providers.” This will make it easier for clinicians to communicate with each other.
When: June 20, 2023, at 6 a.m.

Who: All Vanderbilt University Hospital Providers.
Details: ·       Providers will be moved out of their current MH-Cure Unit(s) to a new “VUMC” Unit.

·       This will enable easier text and phone calls between providers.

·       This will also reduce the number of broadcast messages a provider sees when signed into geographical hospital units where broadcast messages are often used to communicate between staff.

·       See below:

  • All providers must log out of MH-Cure, then log back in for this change to take effect. Follow steps below:

  • If desired, providers can move themselves to other unit(s) from the Dashboard by: (1) tap Assigned Units (2) tap Edit Units (3) Check/uncheck units as desired (4) tap Done

Required Action(s) Log out of MH-Cure and log back in after 6 a.m. on June 20, 2023.
Remember! If you do not desire to be in the VUMC unit, users can add themselves to other units by following tip sheet instructions, see section, ‘Overview of Assigned Unit’: Using MH-CURE Silver – Mobile Heart Beat – Providers.
