StrategyShare 2023 set for Oct. 25

StrategyShare 2023 will showcase the innovations that shape the future of health care on campus and across the country. Vanderbilt Health storytellers will join together on Wednesday, Oct. 25, in Langford Auditorium to share ways they are tackling issues, thinking differently, discovering knowledge, and improving outcomes for the communities we serve.

This year’s theme Navigating the New Normal is designed for everyone in Vanderbilt Health who faces solving new challenges, allocating finite resources, and building cohesive teams – all while delivering safe, high-quality care and promoting discovery. Attendees will leave with fresh ideas to apply to their own teams and areas.

“The collection of ideas from our own colleagues creates an electric atmosphere throughout the auditorium. This year’s line-up of storytellers will provide relevant, real-world examples that will inspire us all to tackle challenges in new ways and may even spark that next, great idea you’ve been looking for in your work area,” said David Calkins, MD, Vice President for Research.

StrategyShare 2023 features a shortened program in a value-added format.  Within the 90-minute event, audience members will gain insights and fresh approaches to more than ten mission-critical initiatives that fuel Vanderbilt Health’s Strategic directions: Making Diversity and Inclusion Intentional, Design for Patients and Families, and Discover, Learn and Share.

“StrategyShare 2023 goers can expect to learn from some of the best doers and thinkers who are doing some amazing things throughout our organization,” said Jillian A. Williams, MBA, lead program manager, Office of Population Health, and StrategyShare 2023 Committee Chair. “These storytellers are fascinating people who want to share their experiences and encourage others to look for creative and adaptive ways to promote innovation and deliver high quality care.”

StrategyShare 2023 is on Wednesday, Oct. 25 and is open to the entire Vanderbilt Health community. The in-auditorium program runs from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m., followed by a networking reception in the Langford Auditorium Lobby that runs until 5 p.m. The reception gives audience members a chance to make face-to-face connections with participants and colleagues from across the organization.
