Registration is now open for the 2024 Joint Commission Quality Readiness Forum, sponsored by the Accreditation & Standards team from the Quality, Safety and Risk Prevention Department (QSRP).
The forum will include morning (8 a.m.-11 a.m.) and afternoon (noon-3 p.m.) sessions on January 16, 18, 31. The Feb. 1, 2024, sessions will take place in-person at the Strategy and Innovation Center.
Speakers in both the morning and afternoon sessions will provide resources and information related to Environment of Care, Infection Prevention, and Medication Management, as part of VUMC preparation for the upcoming TJC Triennial Survey. There is no cost for registration and either breakfast or lunch will be provided for all participants thirty minutes prior to the session start time (7:30 a.m./11:30 a.m.).
All VUMC employees are welcome to enroll in this half-day learning opportunity. This activity is eligible for Nursing Continuing Professional Development contact hours; however, the number of hours is yet to be determined. VUMC, through Nursing Education and Professional Development, is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s (ANCC) Commission on Accreditation.
