VUMC is improving the centralized VUMC-owned computing resource inventory. This initiative will help employees receive timely security updates to devices, updated policies and SOPs, and establish an accurate inventory of devices being used.
To help VUMC IT move towards this model, all VUMC IT and VEC employees must review the updated policies and procedures below. In addition, a training course will be emailed directly to impacted IT employees and staff must complete the training by Aug. 2.
Through the training, IT employees learn more about asset management, project goals, and the importance of a centralized inventory of VUMC-owned computing.
