Convenient options for employees to receive 2024-25 COVID vaccine

As we enter the fall season, the newly updated 2024-25 COVID-19 vaccine is available for VUMC employees.

As we enter the fall season, the newly updated 2024-25 COVID-19 vaccine is available for VUMC employees. The 2024-25 COVID-19 vaccine is formulated to protect against the currently circulating strains of COVID-19.

“Fall and winter months are a time when we see an increase in respiratory illnesses, including COVID-19. The 2024-25 COVID-19 vaccine that is now available is your best protection against severe illness, hospitalization, and even death related to COVID”, said Ana Nobis, MD, MPH, FACOEM, medical director of the Occupational Health Clinic.

The Occupational Health Clinic provides several convenient options for employees to receive a 2024-25 COVID-19 vaccine:

  • Visit the Occupational Health Clinic (OHC) at Medical Arts Building, 6th Floor, Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-4:30 pm. No appointment is necessary.
  • Walk into One Hundred Oaks (VPEC 21100) on Thursdays from 8:00 am-11:30 am. No appointment is necessary.
  • Schedule a department onsite vaccine event through the  OHC Comes to You program.
  • Schedule with your regional hospital Occupational Health resource at:

  • Visit an OHC pop-up vaccine event. Check the OHC Comes to You schedule for upcoming event times and locations, including evening and weekend options.

Employees may also receive a 2024-25 COVID-19 vaccine at convenient locations throughout the community including Vanderbilt Health Walk-in Clinics and Vanderbilt Health Clinics at Walgreens. Need other community options? Visit Vaccines.gov to find a COVID-19 vaccine location near you.

VUMC employees may choose to update their Occupational Health record using the Occupational Health COVID-19 Self-Report tool. The updated COVID-19 vaccine is currently not required for employees and submission of vaccine documentation is voluntary.
