The 23rd annual Levi Watkins Jr., MD Lecture will be held Tuesday, Oct. 29 at noon in 208 Light Hall.
Constance M. Mobley, MD, PhD, FACS, associate director of Liver Transplantation at Houston Methodist J.D. Walter Jr. Transplant Center, will present “Scientific Pearls, Surgical Aphorisms and a Journey to Transplantation.”
The lecture will also be livestreamed.
Mobley earned her MD and PhD from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in 2003. She completed her general surgery residency and fellowship in surgical critical care at the University of Michigan. Subsequently, she completed a fellowship in abdominal multi-organ transplant and hepatobiliary surgery at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. In 2014, Mobley joined the staff of Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas, and she is an assistant professor of Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College.
