StrategyShare 2024 to showcase how teams from across VUMC are impacting the world

StrategyShare is our annual showcase of the exciting and innovative work happening around Vanderbilt Health.

Want to learn more about how your colleagues are moving Vanderbilt Health forward? Join us at StrategyShare 2024, where teams from across the health system are sharing how they are impacting a changing world.

StrategyShare is our annual showcase of the exciting and innovative work happening around Vanderbilt Health. This year’s program takes place Oct. 31, 2024, at 1:30-3 p.m. in Langford Auditorium and online, with reception to follow.

In 90 minutes, you can hear more about how colleagues are supporting our three Strategic Directions: Making Diversity and Inclusion Intentional, Design for Patients and Families, and Discover, Learn and Share. You can expect to see live presentations, interactive panels, and engaging short videos.

“The stories we present at StrategyShare are sure to leave you inspired, proud to be part of Vanderbilt Health, and better able to see connections between your work and what is happening in other places around the health system,” said David Calkins, PhD, vice president for research.

These inspiring stories include:

·         Potential of lifestyle medicine

·         Vanderbilt Health’s Street Medicine team

·         Driving—and thriving—with low vision

·         Expediting treatment for prostate cancers

·         How AI can shape patient care

·         Addressing health disparities with race, ethnicity and language data

·         Vanderbilt Heath’s Undiagnosed Disease Program

·         Impact of Mutual Respect Policy

·         Collaborating to offer global health training

·         Enhancing access to transplant care in rural areas

·         Serving patients closer to home with our regional hospitals and clinics

·         Camp Sugarfalls – a unique initiative in pediatric diabetic care

“One of the best parts of StrategyShare is how it engages and inspires every person and team across the organization, through showcasing the amazing things happening in our everyday work.” said Jillian Williams, associate program director for Population Health and chair of the StrategyShare committee. “I leave every year proud of the work we do and invigorated to keep pushing for innovation and change that makes us successful.”
