VUMC IT Support Technology, a Lakeside Software technology platform, is an application that will allow VUMC IT to diagnose problems, send communications, and troubleshoot issues with an employee’s computer with ease. Instead of an email or phone call, this new system will send a direct message to an employee who will be impacted by a change or alerted to an issue with their device.
VUMC IT Support Technology will:
- Enhance the employees’ productivity and user experience.
- Enable VUMC IT to alert employees to an upcoming change.
- Optimize the performance of VUMC-owned devices.
What to expect:
VUMC IT will use VUMC IT Support Technology to communicate with specific employees who need to be informed of an issue or upcoming change.
- VUMC IT will send a message to an employee’s device that will appear on the right-hand side of the screen.
- The message will be displayed underneath the VUMC IT Support Technology logo.
3. An employee will be able to receive the message and perform the required action if needed.
VUMC IT seeks to improve the user’s experience by communicating directly with an employee through VUMC IT Support Technology.
