NBC has announced that it will rebroadcast the tribute concert, “Toby Keith: American Icon,” on Wednesday, Aug. 27, at 8 p.m. CDT.
The original broadcast on Aug. 28, 2024 became the network’s most-watched non-holiday special of 2024.
The concert is also available to stream on Peacock.
The concert, which took place several months after Mr. Keith’s death in February 2024, was recorded in July 2024 at the sold-out Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
Performances and special guest appearances include Trace Adkins, Priscilla Block, Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Jordan Davis, Scotty Emerick, Brantley Gilbert, Riley Green, HARDY, Tyler Hubbard, Jamey Johnson, Krystal Keith, Miranda Lambert, Ella Langley, Mac McAnally, Ashley McBryde, Parker McCollum, Reba McEntire, Leanne Morgan, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton, George Strait, Carrie Underwood, Clay Walker, Lainey Wilson and more.
The concert and television airings support two causes dear to Mr. Keith, the Toby Keith Foundation’s OK Kids Korral, a cost-free home for families of children dealing with critical illnesses, and Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
