VUMC celebrated Worldwide Pressure Injury Prevention Day on Thursday, Nov. 20 as part of an annual event dedicated to raising awareness about pressure injuries and promoting prevention through education and action.
Staff from Vanderbilt University Hospital, Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and the Regional Hospitals rounded throughout the week with roving carts while asking trivia questions and giving out swag items. Over 150 staff members participated in the pressure injury-themed activity puzzle, which provided an opportunity to win a $25 Amazon gift card.
