The 2026 Vanderbilt Translational Science & Research Forum will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 18, at the Vanderbilt Student Life Center.
The forum is hosted by Vanderbilt Health’s Edge for Scholars office, which provides comprehensive research career development resources to early-career faculty members, pre- and postdoctoral trainees, and leaders of institutional training grant awards.
The schedule includes talks by distinguished translational scientists at Vanderbilt, two trainee poster sessions featuring more than 100 research projects, networking opportunities, and the presentation of faculty mentoring and service awards.
Peter Embi, MD, MS, professor of Biomedical Informatics and Medicine at Vanderbilt Health, will deliver the keynote address.
Embi, an internationally recognized physician-scientist and thought leader at the intersection of medicine and biomedical informatics, codirects Vanderbilt centers for AI Discovery & Vigilance to Accelerate Innovation & Clinical Excellence (ADVANCE), and RAPID-LHS (Realizing Accelerated Progress, Investigation, Implementation, and Dissemination in Learning Health Systems).
