In honor of former patient Chad Crabtree, Make-A-Wish Foundation of Middle Tennessee donated 11 state-of-the-art, flat-screen televisions to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. The teenager died after a long battle with leukemia, and he used his wish to make sure children undergoing treatments in the hospital’s myelosuppression unit have the best entertainment possible. Chad’s family, along with his doctors and nurses at Children’s Hospital, were on hand to celebrate the generous donation.
