Producers of the Nashville Christmas Parade recently announced the entertainment lineup for the Nashville Holiday Music Special which will premiere on Saturday, Dec. 4, at 9 a.m. on News 2.
The one-hour broadcast will feature performances and celebrity appearances from Kristin Chenoweth, Callista Clark, Lindsey Ell, Morgan Evans, Janice Gaines, Ty Herndon, Wynonna Judd, Gary LeVox, Point of Grace, The Oak Ridge Boys, The Shindellas and Rod + Rose.
The artists will perform from iconic Nashville locations, including the Ryman Auditorium, Grand Ole Opry and Skyway Studios.
There will also be special performances by The Brentwood Academy Singers, Raleigh de los Reyes, Joey Richey, Michel Vazquez and Emma Rose Williamson.
During the program, Kix Brooks will honor Nashville’s health care heroes for their sacrifices to keep the public safe.
Of course, Santa Claus will make a special appearance as well.
The program will be hosted by News 2 Good Morning Nashville Anchors Nikki Burdine and Neil Orne and meteorologist Meaghan Thomas. Former Miss Tennessee USA and Miss USA finalist Allee-Sutton Hethcoat will serve as a special correspondent.
Created by the Emmy Award-winning producers of the Nashville Christmas Parade, the Nashville Holiday Music Special will benefit Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. Local viewers will be able to watch the program three times on News 2 during the holiday season: Saturday, Dec. 4, at 9 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 5, at noon and Saturday, Dec. 25, at 11 a.m. The Nashville Holiday Music Special will also air nationwide through Timeless Syndication throughout the season.
