VUMC employees will have an opportunity to learn and get the answers to questions they have about nonbinary individuals.
The VUMC PRIDE Employee Resource Group (ERG) announced it will present the “Ask Us: Nonbinary” panel discussion at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 5 on Microsoft Teams.
This event is open to the entire Medical Center and will feature a panel of VUMC employees who identify as nonbinary answering questions submitted by their VUMC colleagues. People interested in attending are also encouraged to submit their workplace appropriate questions about nonbinary individuals that they’ve always wondered or have been afraid to ask.
This event is part of the Ask Us series presented by the VUMC PRIDE Employee Resource Group. Each event in this series highlights a specific group within the LGBTQ+ community and provides an opportunity for those PRIDE ERG members to answer commonly asked questions.
The goal of this series is to provide a platform for the PRIDE Employee Resource Group to better inform all of VUMC about LGBTQ+ topics, while strengthening allyships across the medical center.

The PRIDE ERG is open to all VUMC employees and celebrates the vibrant community of LGBTQ+ employees at VUMC, including colleagues who identify as nonbinary. In addition, the group champions VUMC’s Strategic Directions of “Making Diversity and Inclusion Intentional” by creating a more inclusive workplace through education, communication, and mentorship.
