The Vanderbilt Stroke Center hosted the inaugural Harold Jobe Bernard Stroke Symposium and Screening last week at the Vanderbilt Marriott. Bernard was a graduate of Vanderbilt, and his family endowed the symposium to educate the public and health care professionals about stroke. On hand at the symposium were, from left, Tommy Bernard, JoAnn Bernard, Howard Kirshner, M.D., and Ann Bernard.
