The weekly Farmers’ Market on the VUMC Plaza will be held 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Sept. 12, said Brad Awalt, manager of Health Plus, which oversees the market.
The market’s normal hours are each Thursday from noon – 3:30 p.m., but organizers moved the event to the earlier time for this one day only due to predicted heavy rain as the remnants of Hurricane Francine pass through the region.
The market will return to its normal operating hours next week.
