The Junior League of Nashville held its annual “wrapping party” on Monday, Dec. 10, where volunteers wrapped gifts and toys to be distributed to patients at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

Researchers at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), with the help of an epidemiologist at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, recently published findings showing an association between infant soy formula feeding and menstrual pain in adulthood.

Country music star Tim McGraw has teamed up with Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt to promote the hospital’s Give to the Next Breath initiative, a philanthropic marketing effort to support the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

The 65th Annual Piedmont Natural Gas Nashville Christmas Parade, presented by Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, kicked off the holiday season on Saturday, Dec. 1, in downtown Nashville. Again, this year, the parade supported Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and its programs.

When Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital launched its After-Hours Clinic Program in 2013, the decision to bring its expertise in treating children closer to home and to provide another option for families was the right choice.

Friends of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt recently hosted its fall fundraiser, An Evening with Friends.
