Honoring Dr. King’s Communal Legacy

A special celebration was held in Light Hall last week to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Hosted by Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion in collaboration with VUMC Employee Resource Groups, “Celebrating Beloved Community” focused on Dr. King’s communal legacy, his vision of beloved community, and the ways we continue to embody that legacy in the work we do here at Vanderbilt.

Healthcare Alliance of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders Employee Resource Group event to feature story sharing

The HAAPI: Healthcare Alliance of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders Employee Resource Group (ERG) at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is hosting HAAPI Voices, a virtual cultural story-sharing event on Thursday, April 22, from 11a.m.-12:30 p.m. Everyone within the VUMC community is invited to join this celebration of cultural identities and backgrounds.
