Patient designs shoes for Coaches vs. Cancer game

Vanderbilt patient Jayden Bailey designed a special pair of Nike Air Max shoes for Jerry Stackhouse, coach of the Vanderbilt University men’s basketball team, to wear during the Jan. 24 Coaches vs. Cancer “Suits and Sneakers” basketball game.

Young patients connect with International Space Station

For six minutes on Aug. 24, patients of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt went out of this world — or at least their voices did — to connect with the International Space Station.
