VUSM faculty honored with emerita or emeritus status

Vanderbilt University recently honored several faculty members for their years of service and bestowed on them the title of emeritus or emerita faculty. Among them were 15 from the School of Medicine.

Piano named to lead School of Nursing research program

Mariann Piano, Ph.D., a distinguished researcher in cardiovascular disease and expert on the effects of binge drinking and young adults, has been named senior associate dean for Research at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing (VUSN).

School of Nursing celebrates accomplishment during August pinning ceremonies

The Vanderbilt University School of Nursing recognized more than 350 students for the completion of their programs with pinning ceremonies held at Langford Auditorium Aug. 6. Pinning is a tradition unique to nursing that signifies entry into the profession.
