Telehealth grant boosts diabetes prevention efforts

Vanderbilt’s Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) has demonstrated its effectiveness at helping employees lose weight as a means of preventing Type 2 diabetes and has received a five-year grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to expand the program using telehealth.

Nominate a faculty or staff member for the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Award

The annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Award will be presented Monday, Jan. 20, 2020, to a faculty or staff member in the School of Medicine, School of Nursing, or Medical Center who emulates the principles of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through his or her work.
