Shade Tree Clinic adds monthly pediatric clinic

Vanderbilt’s Shade Tree Clinic, which since 2005 has provided primary care to underserved and uninsured adults in Nashville, recently opened a pediatric clinic.

When the COVID-19 pandemic shut down international travel necessary for overseas medical initiatives, Vanderbilt’s Rondi Kauffmann, MD, MPH, began brainstorming ways to extend surgical care to those in need much closer to home.
