Temple Grandin, Ph.D., a designer of livestock handling facilities, associate professor of Animal Science at Colorado State University and author of the recently released Animals in Translation: Using Mysteries of Autism to Decode Animal Behavior, will be reading from her book on Sunday, April 10 at 2 p.m. in the theater at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
The event is open to the public. Grandin is on campus to speak to a Vanderbilt-sponsored collection of journalists here to learn more about autism.
