Lisa M. Coussens was the keynote speaker during a retreat on "cancer and inflammation" at Vanderbilt last week hosted by the Vanderbilt Digestive Disease Research Center. She has collaborated with Fingleton and Lynn M. Matrisian, Ph.D., Ingram Professor of Cancer Research and chair of Cancer Biology at Vanderbilt, on publications about proteolytic enzymes and their role in cancer.
