Joseph M. Amann, Ph.D. recently joined the faculty at Vanderbilt University as research assistant professor in the Department of Cancer Biology.
Previously, Aman served as a postdoctoral fellow at Vanderbilt, as well as St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital.
He earned his doctoral degree from University of Alabama at Birmingham in Cell Biology, earned his bachelor’s degree at Pennsylvania State University in Biochemistry and Chemical Engineering.
Amann has been published more than a dozen times and is researching the development of a diagnostic tool that may help customize lung cancer therapies for individual patients.
