Erik M. Ness, M.D. joined the faculty of Vanderbilt University Medical Center July 1 as an assistant professor of Medicine.
Erik received his undergraduate degree from U.C. Berkeley and a master's degree in Epidemiology from the University of Cambridge in England prior to obtaining his M.D. from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and GI/Hepatology fellowship here at Vanderbilt.
Ness' clinical focus will be hepatology and liver transplantation. His research interests include fatty liver disease.
