Asli Ozdas, Ph.D., joined the faculty of Vanderbilt University Medical Center July 1 as assistant professor in the departments of Surgery and Biomedical Informatics.
Ozdas received her Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Vanderbilt University in 2001. Recently, she completed her postdoctoral fellowship with a master of science degree in Biomedical Informatics at Vanderbilt University.
Ozdas is a member of the section of Surgical Science’s clinical information management team with a focus on computerized decision support for the surgical critical care.
